If you click on an email offer they have sent you it will be to the address of your countries version of Amazon (.co.uk etc). It won’t be to some strange version of it like amazonofferbenefits.co.uk or getuamazon.co.uk or any of the thousand variations scammers pick up and put on false scammy communications.

When it comes to text messages from Amazon, why would they text you anything other than a verification code that you have asked for?

If you do find yourself in some loop and have people from Amazon talking to you, and you are not sure if they are legitimate, stop chatting to them. Go to you official website, so amazon.co.uk or .com etc and go through your account from there. Never use links in emails or texts or any chat over the phone to operate your account.

Always be on alert when shopping with anyone online.

Red Flags: Scammers sometimes pretend to be from Amazon and try to trick you into giving them your account and credit card information. Remember, if anyone asks for your financial info, it’s a scam.
